Live Election Night Results

Live election night results will begin appearing at 7:00 pm EST on the day of the election.  Please read the instructions below carefully.

Important instructions, read carefully:

Java is required to view the results.  In most cases you must be the administrator of your computer to install software.  Also, many businesses block certain internet traffic using firewalls.  See your system administrator if you have any of these types of issues. 

**IMPORTANT** - Download JAVA version 1.5.0 to view the election results.  Versions later than version 1.5.0 may not work correctly.  If you already have a newer version installed, try to use it.  Otherwise, uninstall it and reinstall the version below.

After JAVA is installed, follow the steps below.

1.) - After clicking the link to view Live Election Results, the following screen will appear in a browser window as shown below.

 

2.) - If  the correct version of Java is installed , the Election Results java window will appear as shown below.

 

3.) - In the 'Open Result Set' window, click on the [Refresh] button.  All Races - Jurisdiction Wide will appear in the lower half of the window.  Click on All Races - Jurisdiction Wide so it becomes highlighted and click [OK] to open the Results Window as shown in step 4..

 

4.) - The results from the current election will appear.  By default, the results will attempt to refresh once every 5 minutes.  If the results do not refresh, close the Java window and reopen the application.

5.) - Click the [Next Auto] button to make the screen scroll through all the races automatically.
