Language Accessibility and Assistance

  1. Sample Ballots: Spanish Sample Ballots are automatically mailed to all registered voters with voting instructions. Also, Sample Ballots in Spanish and Haitian Creole are available upon request at Early Voting Locations and on Election Day.

  2. Language Link Translation Assistance: Language Link provides translation assistance in over 240 languages and dialects at all voting precincts and Early Voting locations upon request.

  3. Language Assistance at Precincts: Each precinct provides signs in Spanish and Haitian Creole to guide voters with limited English proficiency on how to seek assistance.

  4. Bilingual Poll Workers: The St. Lucie County Supervisor of Elections actively recruits bilingual Poll Workers to ensure effective communication with diverse communities.

  5. Office Assistance: The Supervisor of Elections office employs staff members who can speak Spanish, French, and Haitian Creole, offering assistance to the community. Additionally, Sample Ballots in Spanish and Haitian Creole are available upon request at the office.
